Happy New Year – 2016!

Dear Healthy Loft Friends,

Happy New Year! May you move through 2016 with kind words, good deeds, letting go and letting in, and many new wonderful experiences.

As 2015 comes to a close, many of us will begin to think about all of the different emotions, memories, and achievements from the past year to help bring forth their New Year’s resolutions for 2016. Many of us look to the new year for fresh starts, shedding the unwanted and creating new goals. Many of us set out with good intentions and at times let it fall to the way-side as life is hard and hectic or we want the results as quickly as possible.

Remember to only focus on one item at a time and to take small steps as you may be more likely to succeed. Ask for help from your family, friends and coworkers. You may have to take one step back to move three forward…don’t get discouraged.

Find fun and creative ways to assist yourself in achieving your goals. It is better to take the whole year or to cross one item off of our list and carry forward the remainder into the next year! It is better to try wholeheartedly and enjoy the journey all the while.
