Group Yoga Classes FAQ
All of our instructors are Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs), and are registered with the Yoga Alliance.
The most important things to bring are an open heart and an open mind. We do have yoga mats available to use, but encourage you to bring your own mat. We suggest that students also try to bring a nice, big towel or yoga blanket and a water bottle.
A simple, loose t-shirt and sweatpants or workout pants will suffice for a yoga class. You might also want to bring a nice, warm pair of socks and a sweatshirt to wear during the cool-down portion of class.
We do allow walk-ins, but because of our small class sizes, our group classes tend to fill up quickly. For this reason we recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a spot.
To be fair to your fellow students, do not reserve a class unless you have every intention of attending. We do require 24 hours’ notice in order to refund you the cost of the class you reserved.
Group Yoga Classes
Our group classes are theme-based, and designed around the goals of the group; classes focus things like relaxation, strengthening, or improving energy. Each class is tailored to meet the needs of the group as a whole, while variations on the class’s theme serve to increase and decrease the intensity of the workout. Please see the class schedule for full descriptions of all group classes offered. Some of the benefits of our Group Yoga Classes are as follows:
- Small, Personal-Sized Group Classes
- Motivational Energy From Your Fellow Students
- Classes Tailored to Meet the Needs of the Group
- Classes for Students of All Levels
- Make New Friends
- Beginners Welcomed
Group Classes are open to the public and can be attended on a walk-in basis, but we do encourage students to make reservations beforehand. Classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis for walk-ins; people with reservations take priority. To be fair to other students, please only reserve a class if you have every intention of attending.
